What is Flowpane? A site governance platform for anyone who owns or manages websites, regardless of CMS or platform. It observes public governance artefacts, scores them with explicit product models, and gives you one place to review findings, prepare fixes and produce reports. Scores are Flowpane's product models, not legal-compliance certificates.

Who is Flowpane for? Individuals, sole traders, entrepreneurs, small and medium-sized businesses, enterprises and agencies can all use Flowpane, whether they look after one website or a large portfolio. Group Sites into Workspaces to suit your clients, teams or projects.

What does Flowpane check? Eight artefact types: robots.txt, ads.txt, security.txt, llms.txt, ai.txt, humans.txt, Cookies & Consent and XML sitemaps. See Governance checks.

How is Flowpane different from an SEO plugin such as Yoast? An SEO plugin manages one WordPress site from the inside. Flowpane observes publicly reachable Sites from outside the CMS, and compares many sites side by side. The two complement each other.

Does Flowpane modify my website? Governance checks observe public evidence. Preparing a draft does not itself change your website. Connecting Flowpane does not give Flowpane permission to modify the Site. Managed changes must be explicitly enabled separately, and only supported actions are available for the connected installation. Saving and applying are separate actions.

Which platforms are supported? Checks use publicly reachable resources. Access restrictions or unsupported responses can limit the available evidence. Flowpane detects common platforms such as WordPress, Shopify and Joomla to tailor guidance, but detection is not required for checks to run.

Can Flowpane edit my Site?

The answer to “Can Flowpane edit my Site?” depends on the supported action and your separate authority. Public checks observe evidence. Connecting Flowpane does not give permission to modify the Site. Managed changes must be explicitly enabled separately and supports only the capabilities offered for that installation.
