Version history

Every successful Save creates an immutable revision. The version history is view-only and newest-first. Expand a revision to read its saved content, validation and review history, and an available comparison with the earlier content.

History lets you inspect saved revisions and their review evidence. Compare a saved revision with the latest observed public content before using it. History itself does not restore, roll back or publish content.

Draft version history is available on Scale and above. On lower plans the latest saved revision is still kept and editable, but earlier revisions are not listed.

Using history in a handover

Identify the revision and its authoring context before seeking review or publication. Approval of an earlier revision does not mean that different text has been reviewed. Compare the intended revision with current public evidence, especially if another maintainer changed the Site meanwhile.

If an old revision provides useful wording, treat it as reference material for a new reviewed proposal. History itself is not a one-click website rollback or a guarantee that all earlier website content is retained.
