Integrations
Flowpane governs the public files of any Site, whatever CMS, framework or hosting it uses. Connecting the Site's CMS or site platform through a Flowpane connector adds evidence from the platform itself.
A Workspace Administrator can connect a Site from its Settings → Integrations page on every plan. Review the connector requirements and available management actions first. The page offers each connector's package and connection steps. If you need help connecting a Site, contact assist@flowpane.com.
Available now
- Google Search Console — connect a Site to import its sitemap submission data from Google. Configured per Site. See Google Search Console.
- FTP / SFTP deployment — credentials stored per Site so the Sitemap Workbench can deploy a generated sitemap. See Site settings.
What connecting a CMS adds
Every plan, including Free, can connect a Site on a supported platform. The connection works the same way on every supported platform and adds:
- Connection health — a regular signed health answer from the Flowpane connector.
- Source evidence — supported content and settings the public website does not expose, and a comparison between the platform's settings and what the public Site serves.
- Change summaries — batched counts of source activity, collected on the regular health contact rather than one message per edit.
- Priority events — a request to check sooner when site-wide indexing is switched off, robots.txt changes or the Flowpane-managed sitemap stops being served.
- Finding guidance and supported user-approved fixes where the connector can safely apply them, followed by public verification.
Source activity never becomes a public result by itself: Flowpane checks the public Site and only that check records a Change or Finding. See Source activity, health and change summaries, and How Flowpane works with your CMS for the architecture behind that boundary.
Access on every plan
Free also supports user-initiated deterministic remediation where the connector can safely perform it, followed by public verification. Connection does not create management authority; role, supported capability, separate management authority and approval still govern each action. Monitoring speed, change-summary frequency, history, AI capability and volume can differ by plan; identical evidence receives the same quality score.
A quiet Site can maintain assurance through healthy current heartbeat and unchanged source/public evidence. Where Flowpane has no connector for a Site's platform, that connector control is not applicable. The Extensions Hub lists the platforms Flowpane connects to, with each connector's requirements. Current capabilities and your role determine access and management.
Connection and changes are separate
A Site Integration is a connection between one Flowpane Site and its CMS or site platform. It can provide information the public website does not expose, such as supported content and environment observations. Public governance checks report what is reachable on the web, and source activity leads to those checks rather than to automatic changes: every change to a Site is a deliberate, approved action.
Connecting Flowpane does not give Flowpane permission to modify the Site. To give that permission, turn on Managed changes for the Site and approve each change, or, where Flowpane offers Intercept for your Site, approve an Intercept policy that keeps an approved output in place automatically.

Reading connection status
Connecting means the connection process is underway. Connected identifies an established association; review the health and evidence date too. Disconnected means the association is no longer active. Needs attention means the connection or its evidence needs the action shown. None of these labels alone grants publication permission or certifies the entire website.
Update available means a newer version of the Flowpane connector exists. An older supported release keeps working; the Integrations page names what the update adds, such as Source activity summaries. Flowpane never updates a connector automatically.
After changing the Site address, restoring a backup or changing installation, review current reconnect guidance. Old version or content observations can remain visible and should be read with their evidence date.
