October 2026: Our most advanced Flowpane yet
October brings Flowpane's governance to seven web platforms, unites visibility and controlled delivery in Observe and Intercept, and delivers the fastest Joomla integration we have ever built, while new change alerts and Quick Review mean you hear about what matters sooner and resolve it faster.
Governance across seven web platforms
Whatever your websites are built on, Flowpane now governs them in one consistent way. Flowpane integrates with WordPress, Joomla, Drupal, Next.js, TYPO3, HubSpot Content Hub and Adobe Experience Manager, spanning traditional content management systems, modern web frameworks and enterprise digital experience platforms, so a varied portfolio of websites no longer calls for a varied set of tools.
Connecting a Site gives Flowpane visibility, never permission to change it: managed changes are a separate choice that you enable for each Site, so you decide exactly where Flowpane may act. See Integrations.
Updates from inside your CMS
Keeping Flowpane current now fits the way you already maintain your websites. Our WordPress and Joomla integrations update through each CMS's own installer, with every package checked for integrity before it is installed, so updates arrive alongside the rest of your extensions.
Files that Flowpane manages now say so. Each one is marked "Managed by Flowpane", and Flowpane-managed XML sitemaps present themselves as a clear, readable page when opened in a browser, so anyone who looks can see what the file contains and who maintains it.
Observe and Intercept
Flowpane now lets you see exactly what your websites deliver and control what they deliver next. Observe gives you independent visibility into the resources your websites publicly deliver, supported by platform intelligence and a historical record of evidence, so you always know what changed and when. Intercept builds on that view by controlling how supported resources are delivered, carrying each change through preparation, approval, publication and independent verification in one connected workflow.
Together, they bring visibility and control into a single place.
The fastest Joomla integration we have ever built
Larger Joomla websites now stay in view with a fraction of the processing. In a benchmark of 2,000 articles, Flowpane delivered:
- 11× faster content collection
- 17× less processing time across the collection lifecycle
- 94% fewer database queries
- 96% less processing for the daily check of a website that has not changed
- 18× less processing to resume after an interruption
By reducing unnecessary collection work and improving how meaningful changes are identified, the Joomla integration maintains visibility with considerably less processing overhead. A website with nothing new sends nothing new, and when pages do change, Flowpane re-checks those pages publicly rather than the whole website, which keeps even large and complex Joomla websites in view. See Flowpane for Joomla.
Know the moment something changes
Flowpane now tells you when something on your website changes, rather than waiting for you to look. Each change between one check and the next appears in Flowpane for everyone on your Workspace who can view checks, and you can choose which kinds of change also reach you by email. Changes reported by your CMS gather into Source activity digests, so a busy day arrives as one clear summary rather than a stream of messages, and weekly score history shows how each Site's governance is moving over time.
Quick Review
Resolving a finding now takes moments. Quick Review opens robots.txt and ads.txt findings in place, proposes safe fixes and lets you copy or download the corrected file, so a fix is ready without leaving the page you are on.
October's work brings Flowpane closer to its purpose: making the invisible state of the web visible, governable and auditable at scale.
