WordPress version guidance

Plan WordPress updates with your Site maintainer. Review the installed version, Flowpane package requirements and the compatibility of your themes and plugins before applying an update.

Before updating

1. Review the Flowpane WordPress compatibility requirements.
2. Check WordPress hosting requirements and release guidance for the version you intend to install.
3. Back up the Site and test the update on a separate copy.
4. Follow the official WordPress update guide.

After updating

Refresh the integration status and check the reported versions and available management actions. Run a public governance check and confirm your sitemap and other important resources still work.
