Working notes
Use review notes to explain a decision about a saved Workbench draft. Approval notes and rejection reasons accompany the corresponding review decision.
Keep longer discussions in your organisation’s agreed collaboration channel and reference the Site and draft revision. The Workbench does not provide a shared discussion thread.
See Version history to review saved content and decisions.
Write a decision another person can follow
State what you checked, why the proposed content is appropriate, and any unresolved policy question. For example: “Confirmed the security mailbox with the Site owner; expiry reviewed for this publication.” Keep passwords, private connection details and unrelated client information out of notes.
A note explains a decision; it does not itself validate, approve or publish content. Use the corresponding review action where offered and inspect the exact saved revision being considered.
