Saved overrides can be reused with later crawl results. Review them when your Site structure changes.

Before and after editing

Check that the source evidence belongs to the intended Site and is recent enough for your task. Resolve ambiguous URLs before carrying them into an authored list. A draft, saved rule and generated XML are separate from the public sitemap.

Export for your normal publication process, or use a supported deployment action only when your plan, role and Site allow it. Keep one responsible sitemap owner so a CMS or plugin does not overwrite a separately published file. Re-scan after publication.
