Governance report

The governance report is a PDF snapshot of one Site's governance state, written for sharing with a client or stakeholder. It is available on Starter and above.

Generating a report

  1. Open the Site.
  2. Click Report in the header and choose Generate report.
  3. The PDF downloads as governance-report-<domain>-<date>.pdf and a copy is stored in the Site's report history.

Choose Generate and send report to generate the report and queue it for email delivery to the Site's confirmed report recipients in one step. See Report recipients.

Generating requires the Editor or Admin role. Viewing stored reports is open to every Workspace member.

What the report contains

  • Cover — your logo (Agency and Enterprise), the Site name and domain, the Site score, an evidence summary (resources assessed, findings, coherence score) and the generation date and Workspace.
  • Executive summary — applicable and assessed resources, actionable findings, the cross-file coherence score, and the AI readiness grade with a short explanation. Information findings are observations and are not counted as actionable.
  • Current resource state — one card per artefact with its state, score, up to eight findings with remediation notes, and any evidence limitations.
  • Cross-resource coherence — findings that only appear when artefacts are read together, for example a robots.txt Sitemap directive that does not match the sitemap that was found.
  • Recommendations — governance and AI-governance recommendations.
  • Activity and evidence boundaries — last checked, last public change, last recorded action, checks and deployments in the last 30 days, and a list of recorded actions.

Two different scores appear: the Site score on the cover is the weighted composite; the coherence score is a separate cross-file measure and is labelled as such.

Report history

The Reports tab on a Site lists every generated report. Opening one shows the immutable snapshot captured at generation time, so an old report continues to say what it said even after the Site changes. Stored reports remain viewable if your plan later changes.

Rollout

Report history and Generate and send report are part of the current Flowpane release and reach app.flowpane.com when that release is deployed. If your Site still shows a single report download control rather than the Report menu, stored history has not reached your account yet. Generated PDFs download as before.

White-label reports

On Agency and Enterprise, Workspace settings → General → White-label reports lets you set a Custom logo URL that is embedded on the cover and a Hide Flowpane branding in report footer toggle, which replaces "Generated by Flowpane" with your Workspace name. Other plans see this section locked.
