What Flowpane can manage on Joomla

Flowpane for Joomla connects your Site to Flowpane and reports integration status and supported observations. Available management actions depend on the installed version, connected Site and its current capability status.

Before changing output

Read the management status shown in Flowpane. Observation alone does not grant permission to change output. Preparing a draft does not itself publish it. Only use a management action that Flowpane explicitly offers for the connected Site, and review its effect before confirming.

Existing producers

Third-party sitemap tools and existing files can affect which actions are available. A detected extension is not a promise that Flowpane can manage it. Where support or output authority is uncertain, preserve the existing setup and ask support.

See Joomla compatibility and Joomla troubleshooting.

RSSeo: monitor physical output

A detected RSSeo installation or a file on disk does not by itself prove which tool controls publicly served output. Review the observation and management status in Flowpane before making changes.

Supported managed actions

Where the connected Site offers the capability, Flowpane can apply a saved, validated and appropriately reviewed robots.txt revision, manage supported page directives, and activate or withdraw Flowpane's own managed sitemap output. These are separate actions with their own confirmation and status; general connection authority does not cover them.

For robots.txt, confirm crawler-policy intent and the current public file before applying. For page directives, distinguish noindex (a request not to index) from crawler access and link-following preferences. For sitemap output, preserve the existing producer unless you have deliberately agreed an ownership change.

Read Managed changes for preparation, apply, verification and withdrawal. If management is unavailable, a draft remains a draft; use your authorised external publication process rather than treating Save as an Apply.
