Child Organisations

On Agency and Enterprise plans, a Root Organisation can create Child Organisations beneath it. A Child Organisation is a separate container for Workspaces and members, useful for an agency with regional offices or business units that should not see each other's clients, while the Root retains oversight.

  • Only one level is allowed. A Child Organisation cannot have Children of its own.
  • A Child shares the Root's plan and recorded region and cannot change them independently.
  • Root owners and admins keep authority over every Child. A Child has its own admins and members but no separate owner.
  • Workspaces and Sites cannot be moved between Organisations once created.

Managing Children

Go to Settings → Organisation. The Organisation hierarchy panel lists the Root and its Children.

  • New Child Organisation — enter a name of up to 160 characters and create it. Requires Organisation admin authority at the Root.
  • Disable Child — suspends access to the Child and everything beneath it. Nothing is deleted: memberships, Workspaces and Sites are preserved.
  • Restore Child — lifts the suspension.

Root Organisations cannot be disabled from this panel. Only Root owners and admins can disable or restore a Child.

Adding members to a Child is done through the usual Workspace invitation flow within that Child's Workspaces. See Inviting team members.
